Honor Chuck Stokes

Chuck Stokes, MSHA Class of 1983, wasn't just an alumnus—he was family. For decades, Chuck opened doors, shared wisdom, and believed in the potential of every student and fellow graduate who crossed his path. His warmth and genuine care created a ripple effect that touched countless careers and lives throughout our HLAA community.

As a healthcare leader across seven nonprofit organizations and as our beloved Interim Department Chair, Chuck demonstrated what servant leadership truly means. But those who knew Chuck best remember him for something even more precious—his gift for making everyone feel seen, valued, and capable of achieving more than they ever imagined possible.

Chuck and his wife Judy have been steadfast champions of our students, especially those committed to serving vulnerable populations. Their generosity of spirit and unwavering support helped shape the leaders our healthcare system desperately needs.
